Our family has always loved animals. That's why we're vegetarians, after all. But, we never thought we would have as many dogs as we have now. It all started last year on Thanksgiving Day. Ashley was driving to a friend's house to feed her cat. But, a few houses away from our house, there was a pregnant stray on the street. Missy. We brought her into the house, through the halls, and into the backyard. We tried to contact her other owner, but the information on her tag was wrong. Less than a month later, she gave birth to her 7 puppy litter. We named them A,B,C,D,E,F, and G, waiting for their gender to show before naming them. While we were on vacation in San Francisco, while that same friend from before was babysitting the dogs, they all opened their eyes. That was when my sister and her husband decided all of their names. Atreyu, Brownie, Conan, Danzig, Eastwood, Frenchie, and Gonzo.
Even
though we've given away Atreyu, Conan, and Danzig, we still have seven
dogs named: Brownie, Bumpers, Eastwood, Frenchie, Gonzo, Maggie, and
Missy.

At the school I go to, I have to complete a minimum of 20 hours of
community service. Last year, I was lazy and didn't complete them.
Ashley had to take me to work to complete them there or else I wouldn't
be able to get my junior stuff for next year, which would be very bad.
So, I have to complete all of my required hours during the summer, so I
can not stress about them during the school year. Does anyone know
a website where I can find a place to volunteer? I signed up for a few things,
but they haven't contacted me back and it's been a month. I don't have
high hopes.
Also, if I get a job I can finally get my permit.
So, I am trying to get a job somewhere near where I live. There's a market close by. All I have to do is show them
my resume. I started making it today. I sent it to Ashley this morning,
so she makes sure that it isn't formatted wrong or if I forgot to put
something in there.
I like writing stuff in blogs, but since
it's summer I don't really have much to write about. On Saturday, I saw
the movie Get Smart. It was okay. I would have liked it more, but there
was a group of teenagers sitting in front of my sister and I, and they kept
laughing for about 5 minutes every time someone would make a joke.
After that, we went to this foreign resturaunt for someone'ss
birthday present. There was a belly dancer, and it was pretty fun. The birthday girl told Tori that when the belly dancer comes near you, you're
supposed to gently throw the money at the feet of the dancer. But when
the dancer came, Tori chucked it at the dancer like a football player.
The food was really good, but since it was so late I didn't finish
anything except my large plate of fries.
I'll write another blog later when something happens!
